Concrete Riser Blocks

Concrete risers are often used to bring the access to septic tanks to grade level.  This allows you to clean and inspect your tank at anytime.  This is a good idea in the colder climates where frost might be a problem.  Any septic tank that is installed with an effluent filter should have the access over the filter brought to grade.  This allows you to clean the filter if required.  Most effluent filters only need cleaning when you pump your septic tank.
